About

The garden is owned and operated by the Savannah Area Council of Garden Clubs. It was conceived and designed in the late 1980s as an all-volunteer effort and sits a few minutes' drive from the Historic District.

It combines formal and naturalistic plantings with a two-acre pond, an amphitheater, nature trails, an archaeological exhibit and the historic Reinhard House.

Tips

  • About 5 miles from downtown Savannah in a straight line, so plan it as a drive.
