About

Picker Joe's Antique Mall & Vintage Market is one of Savannah's best-known antique destinations, voted Best Antique Store by Connect Savannah. Owner Joe Plumlee picks specialist dealers so the store doesn't feel like a jumble. The booths of 70 professional pickers hold thousands of changing items: antiques, vintage and mid-century furniture, lighting, artwork, vintage books, home décor, coins and collectibles, architectural salvage and hardware. Picker Joe's has thousands of items changing daily across 12,000 square feet plus vintage soda fountain.

After outgrowing its well-loved 41st Street store in Starland, Picker Joe's moved into a renovated building at 66 W. Montgomery Cross Road. It reopened on February 12, 2026 with 12,000 square feet, including a new mezzanine, and plenty of free parking. The red Coffee & Vintage Soda Shop, with coffee and ice cream treats, was rebuilt on the mezzanine, and a house-like structure in the middle of the floor holds the mid-century section.

Shoppers range from designers hunting movie props and homeowners after salvage to busloads of visitors. Plan at least an hour.

Tips

  • About 6 miles from downtown Savannah in a straight line, so plan it as a drive.
  • Independent shops keep their own hours and some close early in the week: call ahead before a special trip.
